Kayley and Marc’s micro-wedding was an Alaskans’ dream! At Salted Roots in Seward, the couple tied the knot where the mountains and forest meet the ocean. We had so much fun orchestrating and planning the florals for this woodsy and romantic summer wedding. We love working with couples who want to throw an epic party while supporting local Alaskan vendors and take advantage of the gorgeous seasons here in Alaska.
The overall design has a natural feel, like you are at home in the woods along the seaside. Keep scrolling to see more images of this very special and unique Alaskan micro wedding! Don’t forget to check out all of the amazing vendors that made this boho Alaskan wedding possible!
Special thanks to Emily Hary Photography for the stunning pictures of this day!
The pampas created a defining moment at the altar, surrounding the couple as they made their vows.

A neutral palette went perfectly with the backdrop of the ocean and the venue at Salted Roots. Including pops of terracotta, dusty sage, and dusty blue, I absolutely love how the lush forest blended seamlessly with the vision of this whimsical boho inspired wedding.

The cake featured a unique element and incorporated something that the couple loves - ice climbing! The bride and groom figures climbing up the cake made for a special detail and some fun pictures.

MEET REBECCA
Hey there! I am Rebecca, I was born and raised in Alaska. I have always been a party planner at heart, even from childhood. In 2012, after some soul searching I realized my life long dream by founding La Boum Events. For me it is the perfect balance of my desire to be a working artist and my get-schutff-done approach to life. I have a quick brain, I am great with details, I love a challenge and approach problem solving with a flexible attitude... it was a perfect fit.
I specialize in one-of-a-kind weddings, inspired by the love stories and adventures of our incredible couples. Personally, I love working with joyful, adventurous, fun-seeking couples who want to create an incredible Alaskan experience for their big celebration.
When I am not working, I love to slow down and enjoy the simple Alaska life with my husband and kids. I am savoring the slow process of renovating an old farm house, running an urban homestead, and making wine.
